ENVIRONMENT

Mankind is of a degree of intelligence by which we ought to accept responsibility as the custodians of the Earth, rather than as the rapists of the Earth. Pollution should be minimized, along with Mankind's other impacts on the environment.

Third world immigration, multiculturalism, and the consumer-oriented society are all obstacles to caring for the environment, as these things ensure that hordes of people will be caught up in materialistic pursuits which neglect and harm the environment.

WELFARE

There are a lot of options to consider. Generally we will always need welfare for the sake of those unable to provide for themselves. However, churches could operate privatized welfare programs. I intend to make religious institutes and organizations fully taxable, but so long as they are not, they should be prepared to shoulder a portion of the financial burden of caring for those unable to care for themselves.

ABORTION

Should be fully legal and an available medical option. At the same time, it should be mitigated. Children should be educated from an early age to understand all the facts regarding sex, including its risks and potential consequences. Well educated individuals are perhaps less likely to make choices which would necessitate an abortion.

Anti-abortion activists should be barred from demonstrating outside clinics and institutes offering abortions, as these are venues where individuals go once they have already made up their minds that an abortion is necessary, and such demonstrators will accomplish little more than shaming, humiliating, intimidating, and stressing out individuals who have already had to make a painful decision which they will likely feel regrets and sorrow regarding for years afterward. It would be more appropriate for such demonstrators to hold their rallies outside legislative buildings instead.
